Using Condoms Correctly / Condom for Penis / Condom for Vagina / Sex Dam

Fun Facts

  • Condoms are the only form of protection that can prevent Sexually Transmitted Infections from being passed.
  • Condoms are 95-97% effective if used correctly!
  • There are 2 main kinds of condoms:
    • Condoms for Penises (which can also be made into sex dams for oral sex!)
    • Condoms for Vaginas
  • The best place to keep condoms is cool, dry places such as a school bag, a locker, under a bed in a shoebox, a dresser drawer, etc. They do not like being squished or very hot, so a back pocket wallet or in a car in the summer are not good places to store condoms!

Some great reasons to use condoms include:

  • They help prevent the passing on or getting of STI and HIV.
  • They help prevent pregnancy.
  • They can be lots of fun!!
  • They are free from teen clinics and some health clinics.
  • They can make sex more relaxing and less stressful.
