Where on earth did we get the idea that beauty only means one thing?

 oh ...yeah... i get it.

 messages come at us from all over the place  

and it's not just women who get these messages 

guys can get it just as bad...

 

History lesson: (well, sort of)

The "ideal" beauty has changed and will continue to change over time

      

Who defines this ideal and where are all the variations of beauty in the media to represent all the ways we are beautiful in real life?

So many of us are stuck trying to measure up to  an ideal that isn't even real

We're wasting precious time and money
